Surau Al-Firdaus, situated in the peaceful neighborhood of Saujana Damansara, Petaling Jaya, holds a special place in the local community. Officially launched on 26 February 2012, the surau has since become a vital spiritual hub for residents, hosting daily prayers, religious classes, and community gatherings.
The surau was originally named "Surau Suhaimy Al Muniroh," in honor of its generous benefactors, YBhg Dato' Haji Suhaimy bin Haji Othman and YBhg Datin Hajjah Muniroh binti Kasim. This noble couple donated the surau as a charitable gift, contributing to the development of a central space for worship and reflection. Their vision for the surau was to foster a sense of unity and spiritual growth within the community.
Later on, the surau was renamed to Surau Al-Firdaus, reflecting its deeper spiritual mission of guiding the local Muslim community towards religious excellence and harmony. Since its inception, Surau Al-Firdaus has been more than just a place of worship—it has become a symbol of the generosity and strong faith of its donors, while also serving as a center for learning and spiritual enrichment for people of all ages.
Starting from June 28, 2024, this surau has been officially designated as Surau Jumaat.
