Sekolah Kebangsaan Iskandar or SK Iskandar for short , is a Primary School located in Kedah . The birth of this school started from the initiative of a caring person who is very concerned about the education of his countrymen who are thirsty for knowledge. His earnestness and persistence finally succeeded in establishing the first government English school in the state of Kedah known as the Government English School on December 8, 1908 and later changed its name to Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid. This school was originally only open to male students but considering the number of students which has drastically decreased the recruitment of female students was opened from 2015.
