The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia, known as FINAS, is a government agency established in 1981 to spearhead the development of the Malaysian film industry. It plays a central role in promoting, regulating, and facilitating the growth of the film sector.

FINAS's functions include providing financial assistance to filmmakers, administering film licenses, organizing film festivals, and promoting Malaysian films internationally. It also manages the Museum of Moving Image (MOMI@FINAS) and the Center of Excellence (COE), which provide resources and training for filmmakers. FINAS's efforts have contributed significantly to the growth and recognition of the Malaysian film industry.
