Overview

Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra Mosque, Gua Musang was built on 19 October 1988 and was fully completed on 11 March 1991. The Ministry of Rural Development through its agency KESEDAR has allocated a total of RM2.7 million to build and complete this building.

This mosque was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Sultan Ismail Petra Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Yahya Petra on 15 January 1995 corresponding to 13 Syaaban 1415H. On April 4, 1999, this mosque was officially made the Friday mosque for Mukim Bandar Baru Gua Musang as well as the Colony Mosque.

Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra Mosque is located in Bandar Baru Gua Musang and is close to government offices. The site area of this mosque is 4.85 hectares.

This mosque is located on the main road from Gua Musang to Kuala Lumpur. This mosque is not only visited by local residents and nearby government employees, but is also a focal point for travelers traveling from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur or vice versa.
