This mosque was completed on February 1, 1985. It was inaugurated on April 5, 1985 by His Majesty Sultan Ismail Petra. This mosque was initially named Masjid Kampung Sireh, in conjunction with the name of the village where the mosque was built, namely Kampung Sireh. In October 2013 the name of this mosque was changed to Masjid Sultan Mansor taking in conjunction with the name of one of the ruling kings of Kelantan.
Sultan Mansor Mosque is located on Jalan Kampung Sireh, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The location of this Mosque is very strategic because of its position in Kota Bharu City and close to the main roads, in addition to being in the middle of the public vehicle travel route. The area of this mosque is approximately 1 acre. The prayer room of the mosque can accommodate up to 1500 worshipers at one time.
