The Islamic Center of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a center of excellence that is responsible for improving the quality of human capital and plays a role in planning and implementing programs and activities related to Islamic intellectuality, society and welfare. All programs that are carried out all the time are to provide benefits to all campus residents and the surrounding community. 

The location of the Islamic Center, which is in the middle of the UTM administrative center, gives such a deep meaning to the campus residents, including students and staff. This position is very much in line with UTM's motto 'Because God is for Humanity'.
