Putra Nilai Mosque was built in 2003. The founders were local residents and the State Government. The site of this mosque is a gift from the State Government. Originally the name of this mosque was Bandar Baru Nilai Mosque but later it was changed to Masjid Putra Nilai in 2007. The number of people it can fit is currently 5000 people. This mosque manages eleven suraus under its supervision.
