Long Tan Mosque, Lojing is a colony mosque for the small colony of Lojing. It is under the supervision of the Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Customs of Kelantan (MAIK). This mosque is also responsible for overseeing five mukim mosques around the small colony of Lojing. Among them are Sigar District, Hendrop Post District, Tuel Post District, Kuala Betis District and Balar Post District. The name of the mosque is in conjunction with the name of the ruler of the South Kelantan area, Long Tan.
Long Tan Mosque is the first mukim mosque built in Lojing. The construction of the mosque, which was initially named the Lojing Youth Mosque, became a sign of the Kelantan government's desire to prioritize religious matters in state administration. The foundation stone for the construction of the Long Tan Mosque was completed by the Regent, Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra ibni Sultan Ismail Petra on 31 July 2010 in conjunction with the declaration of Lojing as a small colony (district).
