Overview

This mosque was built on land donated by YM Tengku Ampuan Jamaiyah, the Queen of Selangor. It was built for the use of the community around Morib beach and visitors to this famous beach. This mosque was inaugurated by His Majesty the Sultan of Selangor on 9 March 1957.

This mosque is built in a modern Malay design pattern where the magnificent yellow dome is at the front of the mosque building and the tall minaret is located at the back of the mosque building. The design of the mosque building is rectangular and painted in silver and white. The entire building of this mosque is made of concrete bricks and has a thatched roof. This mosque has one level of prayer room which is equipped with a blue carpet inside which is comfortable and convenient for the worshipers to worship.

Among the facilities available are a spacious parking space, a hearse and funeral services, a comfortable prayer room for prayer and a place for ablution.
