Overview

In early 2012, Surau Nusa Idaman was given permission to hold Friday prayers. Planning to upgrade Surau Nusa Idaman into a mosque continued in 2017 when the accumulated contribution reached RM 1.2 million along with additional funds received from a donor.

Within a period of 2 years of construction, the mosque was finally completed in 2019. It was later named Masjid Daing Abdul Rahman, Iskandar Puteri. The Daing Abdul Rahman Mosque was visited by a delegation from JAINJ led by Dato' Mufti Johor and his Deputy on 4 March 2019 to assess and award the accreditation of the mosque for the implementation of Friday Prayers.
