Overview

This District Mosque was built in 2002. This mosque was formerly known as the Jamek Jelatang Mosque which was built in 1960 from donations from the public and renewed several times with donations from the public and the government. Due to the location of this mosque in the middle of Alor Gajah town, a new mosque was built next to the old mosque and this mosque became the Alor Gajah District Mosque with the title of Al-Rasyidin Mosque.
