The Abdul Rahman Auf Mosque was originally a surau built on land with an area of 1244 square meters and approved by the 159th Perak state sharia committee meeting dated April 10, 2003. This surau was built on April 1, 2004 with public contributions and donations amounting to RM 370, 577.00. This surau was completed on April 1, 2007 and was inaugurated by Ybhg Dato Zainal Bin Omar, director of Perak state development. The declaration of the mosque Abdul Rahman auf by Ybhg AF Ustaz Tuan Haji As'ad Bin Awang, a member of the state fatwa council.
