Overview

Occupational Safety and Health Department or Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (JKKP), under the Ministry of Human Resources, is Malaysia's safety shield for workers. They make sure workplaces follow strict safety rules, from machines to chemicals, through inspections and education. They train workers and bosses on what to do, investigate accidents to prevent future ones, and work with everyone to make safety a habit. JKKP wants every worker to go home safe and healthy, keeping Malaysia's workforce strong and the economy growing.
