Overview

Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), also known as the Department of Broadcasting, Malaysia, is the national public broadcaster of Malaysia. Established on 1 April 1946 as Radio Malaya, it is the first and the oldest broadcaster in the country.

RTM operates a variety of radio and television channels, including TV1, TV2, TV Okey, Sukan RTM, Ai FM, Traxx FM, and Min Fm. It also has an online streaming service, RTMKlik.

RTM's mission is to inform, educate and entertain the Malaysian public. It broadcasts a wide range of programming, including news, current affairs, documentaries, dramas, comedies, sports, and music. RTM is also a major producer of content for the international market.
